AULDGUBBINS.CO.UK – Retro, theatre and Assorted auld gubbins

It says a lot for the willingness of folk fae Fife to accept change and the modern world that they still refer to themselves as being fae a kingdom that didnae really exist.  Yes, I know they claim it was the Pictish kingdom of Fib but these were a people who left no records of anything.  Not even a forwarding address.  It’s like me claiming to be Emperor of the Nogs.

So, the 1970s in Dunfermline was like the 1950s anywhere else.  On a good day.  Which bearing in mind that it was still the 1930s everywhere else in Fife wisnae bad. Although with the arrival of hot potatoes they were giving the sixties a wee nudge.
