AULDGUBBINS.CO.UK – Retro, theatre, film, history, and Associated auld gubbins

It’s been a while but I’ve been busy with house moves to the middle of nowhere, mental breakdowns, computers dying on me and, for a brief moment, the sun coming oot.

But we’re off to the pictures today, fittingly as it’s October and the New Victoria Cinema in Edinburgh has their October brochure available. Granted, it’s from October 1946 but I’m sure the pictures were a lot better back then. There’s a flipbook hingy o’er there.
