The Soldier’s Fortune by Thomas Otway was first staged in 1680. A mere 286 years later it made a comeback. I’m assuming he didn’t get royalties.
With Bergerac and Captain Mainwaring. And a few other weel kent folk, Maurice Roeves and Sheila Hancock among them.
